As the publisher, Al-Husna: Journal of Islamic Education Multidisipliner (JIEM) - Bandung Barat is committed to managing all stages of publication professionally, transparently, and ethically. We also ensure that advertising, reprints, or other commercial revenues do not influence editorial decisions.

  1. Editors’ Responsibilities
  • Publication Decisions
Editors are responsible for deciding which articles are suitable for publication based on the validity of the research, its scientific contribution, and relevance to readers. Editors may consider input from the editorial board and peer reviewers.
  • Fair Play
Editors evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content without discrimination regarding authors’ race, gender, religious belief, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, or political views.
  • Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher, as appropriate.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the author’s written consent.
  1. Reviewers’ Responsibilities
  • Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and can help authors improve their manuscripts through constructive feedback.
  • Confidentiality
Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared with or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
  • Objectivity Standards
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources
Reviewers should ensure that relevant published work has been properly cited. They should also inform the editor of any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript and other published papers of which they are aware.
  • Conflict of Interest
Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
  1. Authors’ Responsibilities
  • Reporting Standards
Authors must present an accurate account of the work performed and an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data must be presented accurately to allow replication by others.
  • Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works. If the work and/or words of others are used, they must be appropriately cited.
  • Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously constitutes unethical publishing behavior.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have influenced their research.
  • Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All significant contributors should be listed as co-authors. All co-authors must approve the final version of the paper and agree to its submission.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support must be disclosed.
  • Fundamental Errors in Published Works
When authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate to retract or correct the paper.
